Speed Solitaire

Like many college students, I spend a lot of time at my computer. Don't misunderstand me, though: I'm not working or doing anything productive: I spend a great deal of time playing Solitaire.

I've raised the simple act of playing a computerized card game into a competitive activity. Since I don't feel like revealing this sad little obsession to my friends, I have to compete against my old scores.

Anyhow, here's how to do it: set up Solitaire so that three cards are drawn and the game is timed. Simply try to finish a game as fast as possible. My fastest game ever is shown here. Cheating (holding down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT to draw one card at a time) is allowed and encouraged.

I'm extremely intense while playing Speed Solitaire. I reach a Zen-like state where my mind is focused completely on the card game in front of me. *

So, try it sometime. If you send me a screen shot of a better time than my own, you win a prize... of some sort. If you doctor a screen shot to make it look like you got an impossibly low time, I'll still give you a prize for effort.

Update! Somebody actually submitted a screen shot.

*I'm lying. It's more like a blank stare with frantic clicking.
